SafireCMS Content Management System

SafireCMS is a managed content management system used to design and build a web site. Our interface allows you to manage a dynamic collection of HTML documents, images and other forms of media quickly and easily. SafireCMS facilitates document control, auditing, editing, and storage, while allowing designers full access to customize your sites look and feel with templates and CSS.

SafireCMS Features

Template Control
Designers can enter custom templates (usually HTML and XML) that can be applied to new and existing content, allowing the appearance of your site to be changed from one place using one file. Different templates can be applied to pages that appear in sub-sections. We give designers full creative license to literally drop in their own designs and CSS definitions.

Document Management
SafireCMS provides a means of managing the life cycle of every page from initial creation time, through revisions, publication, and document deletion or expiration.

Easily Editable Content
We have separated the visual presentation of a site from content management, making it much easier for editors and designers to live in harmony. SafireCMS includes an advanced WYSIWYG editor allowing non-technical individuals to create and edit content. You can upload assets such as images, documents, or video and link to them or to various other pages in the site easily. No HTML to learn.

The HTML Editor will use the styles you have already defined in your style sheet for the following:

• Heading 6

Smart Tags
SafireCMS uses “smart tags” to insert otherwise complicated features such as today's date, online forms, breadcrumb navigation, sub-navigation, social media such as Facebook and Twitter, date and time, and text boxes for your own functionality.

{{{plugin name="BreadCrumb"}}} - Shows a breadcrumb trail on the page.

You can even insert social media tags that allow your visitors to promote your pages on Facebook and Twitter.

Sitemap.XML File
SafireCMS generates a sitemap.xml file for you automatically at the root of your site. You can control Priority, Change Frequency or add Publish till dates for each individual page in the interface. It's always current and will add or delete URL's as you modify your site.

Search Engine Optimization
SafireCMS gives you full access to manage the SEO of all of your pages quickly and easily in the interface. No HTML to contend with!

Asset Management
SafireCMS allows you to upload and delete various assets such as images, documents, videos, style sheets, etc. You can preview all uploaded images, perform mass uploads of images via FTP, and you can easily edit .css or .txt files in the asset manager.

Plug-in Functionality
SafireCMS includes plug-ins to extend additional functionality such as Form Creation to your site, with more being developed all the time. Build your own forms, collect responses, export responses via .csv file or clear all responses in the interface.

Managed CMS means that you benefit from constant upgrades with no increase in costs.

User Management
SafireCMS provides a means of managing users (editors) who can edit pages, files or manage the design.

• Ability to add/edit security roles.
• Ability to assign users to pre-defined roles (such as Administrator, Page Manager, File Manager, User Manager, and Forms Manager.
• Ability to click on your name (upper right hand corner), and modify your profile (password, email, etc).
